Local Impacts Story Collecting
OAK is collecting stories that showcase the impacts of President Trump’s recent executive orders, federal funding freeze and federal layoffs. These messages will be sent directly to Congress and, with your permission, will be used to strategically advocate for and defend programs that connect kids, youth and families to nature. Every Kid Outdoors
The Every Kid Outdoors program is crucial to the success of OAKs mission to connect children, youth and families to nature. OAK and its members are working to both expand the number of families currently utilizing the program, and advocating for state and federal legislation that will expand the impacts of this program.
